Story
Spring Garden Church was founded in the early 1970s by Henry K. (H.K.) Fisher, a man of deep faith and vision. At that time, there was a growing desire in the community for a local congregation that reflected Amish Mennonite values: biblical teaching, simple worship, and a strong emphasis on living out faith in everyday life.
What started as a small gathering quickly grew into a church family committed to both tradition and discipleship. The heart was never about numbers, but about building a Christ-centered community that would stand the test of time.
From its beginning, Spring Garden Church was planted with a purpose: to be a light in the community by faithfully following Jesus. The founders desired a place where worship was sincere, teaching was biblical, and relationships were real. That vision continues to shape who we are today - ordinary people seeking to live faithfully, love deeply, and pass on the truth of Christ to future generations.

Church History
For more than fifty years, Spring Garden Church has been a place where ordinary people gather to worship an extraordinary God. Our legacy is not built on programs or buildings, but on faithfulness - faithfulness to God’s Word, to each other, and to the call to serve our community.
From one generation to the next, we’ve seen God’s hand at work: children raised in the church becoming leaders, neighbors drawn to Christ through friendship, and families strengthened by a shared commitment to live simply and walk humbly with God. This legacy is a testimony to His grace and a reminder that we are part of something bigger than ourselves—a story God continues to write.
